"We offer two convenient locations to assist you."

Comox Valley Funeral Home Courtenay - Island Funeral Services/Elk Falls Crematorium Campbell River

Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, Courtenay is a family owned and operated firm, providing dignified and respectful funeral services, burials, celebrations of life and cremations from a bright and relaxing state of the art facility.

Our philosophy is that the final gift we can provide when one close to us dies is the gift of “significance.”

A ceremony is our last opportunity to celebrate the life of one who gave us, support, happiness and good memories over the course of many years. A thirty or forty minute funeral service or Celebration of Life service allows loved ones to say goodbye to someone who contributed a lifetime to them. Let us help you give them this final gift of “significance”.

At Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre in Courtenay and Island Funeral Services, Elk Falls Crematorium and Reception Centre in Campbell River we specialize in ways to say goodbye that are meaningful.

Owners Kent and Rosemarie Roduck are licensed Funeral Directors with years of professional experience. Whether you wish to plan a cremation or a burial they and their helpful, courteous staff will help you create a ceremony to provide special memories you’ll cherish for the rest of your life.

We offer two convenient locations to assist you, Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre in Courtenay and Island Funeral Services Elk Falls Crematorium and Reception Centre in Campbell River. Both provide complete funeral services and facilities including chapels, reception rooms with catering on request, cremations, graveside burials, caskets, urns and cemetery markers.

We also offer pre-planning. Many people feel more comfortable knowing their funeral plans or cremation details are confirmed and paid for, removing that burden from family and loved ones. We call it “The Inflation-Proof Plan.”

Island Funeral Services

The sharing of refreshments, stories and emotions following the funeral service or gathering is an important part of the healing process. This provides both emotional solidarity and support for the survivors, so their closure can begin.

Pre-Planning

During our lives we plan for many situations: education, weddings, family and especially retirement. We also purchase insurance to help us in situations that may happen. However, many of us neglect to plan our funeral.
